Personal Enrichment

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved by him, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly explaining the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

Motto:

The place where right teaching leads to responsible living.

We believe that every person has a desire to learn about various aspects of life for the purpose of bettering their lives. For Christians, this scope would include learning about the Bible, the principles contained within it,  and how it can teach us more about God, theology, etc. Teaching should also take place in the church because Scripture encourages it. In his letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul encourages him to focus on reading the Scriptures in the church and to teach and encourage the believers.[2] The Psalmist understood the importance of learning the righteous ways of the Lord through the law in order that we may live our lives the way we should.[3] We find in the book of Ephesians Paul writing that among the gifts that Christ gave to the church are teachers.[4] Luke records in his gospel that Jesus regularly taught from the Scriptures in the synagogue.[5] These are just a few of the many instances where the Bible encourages teaching in the church.
