Perhaps the oldest Uniformed Christian Youth Organization for Boys in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, the Boys’ Brigade has done much to shape young men and boys to become productive citizens.  Since November 10th, 1958, the 14th Company of The Boys’ Brigade has called Zion home.  Since that time our local chapter can boast of assisting in the positive development of hundreds of our Nation’s Leaders.

“The mission of the Boys’ Brigade is the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom among Boys and the promotion of habits of Obedience, Discipline and Self-respect and all that tends toward true Christian manliness”.

Training & Discipline

Our Coordinators are trained to assist with training and development of boys using tools like bible study, individual and group discussions, seminars, physical activity and counselling sessions, specifically geared towards boys and teenagers.   This ministry meets each Saturday at 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and welcomes young men and boys ages 6-17 years.

Fun stuff…

Being a part of this Ministry, boys can expect to be become well rounded and gain a full wealth of knowledge as they become involved in a number of activities such as General Knowledge, Speech and Drill Competitions, Basketball  and Soccer Tournaments, Field Trips and so much more…..
